Vikas Kakwani: I have come a long way from the narrow lanes of the old Meerut city where I was born and brought up. After graduating in Electrical Engineering from IIT(Roorkee), I completed my post-graduation in Management from IIM(Lucknow). Since then I worked for 20+ years in various corporate roles. I love to set things up and get bored by routine. I have just launched my education start-up focusing on bringing the school drop-outs to the mainstream. Check www.vidyalaya.org.in for more info. I am a geek, a technology lover and have always generally stayed ahead of the curve when it comes to awareness, implementation and early adoption of tech. I am sharp and very good with numbers. I write as a way of expression. I believe in living in Today and my favourite quote is “You are not dead till you die”. I live in Mumbai with my wife and a teenage son.
